For elopements
Married, just us two — now let's celebrate.
An elopement has two moments: the private 'we did it' and the party everyone gets to come to. linkfor.us carries both on one link — the announcement with your story and photos, and the celebration dinner with its own RSVP, dress code, and WhatsApp shareable invite.

01
Announce first, plan the party later
Publish the announcement the day you get back — your story, the elopement photos, the 'we eloped' wording. When the celebration dinner takes shape, it joins the same page. The link never changes, so the announcement you shared on day one becomes the RSVP page on its own.
- Announcement hero with your photos
- Add the party when it's ready
- One link that never changes
02
The after-party is the real RSVP
The celebration dinner is its own event — date, time, venue, dress code — with an RSVP form that asks what actually matters: who's coming, plus-ones, meal choices. No ceremony to RSVP to, no countdown to a day that already happened.
- RSVP for the celebration only
- Plus-ones & meal choices
- Set an RSVP deadline
03
Share it the way news travels
Elopement news moves through group chats, not formal invitations. Share buttons open WhatsApp with a pre-written announcement carrying your link — the message reads right in a family group, and nobody needs an account to open it.
- Prefilled WhatsApp announcement
- A link short enough to say aloud
- QR-ready for printed cards
04
Private until you're ready
Most elopements start as a surprise. With Celebration the page can sit behind a guest password and stay out of search engines until you decide it's news — then you open it up and share the link everywhere.
- Guest password for the surprise
- Keep it out of search engines
- Open it up when you're ready
“We eloped in Big Sur, told everyone with one link, and the after-party RSVP filled itself.”

Questions
Everything else you're wondering
How does linkfor.us work for an elopement?+
Two jobs, one link. First it's the announcement — your story, the elopement photos, 'we eloped in Big Sur, just us two.' Then it's the after-party page: the celebration dinner gets its own event with a time, venue, and dress code, and guests RSVP to that. The address never changes, so the announcement link you share on day one is the same link people RSVP on later.
Can we announce before we've planned the after-party?+
Yes — that's the whole point. Publish the announcement the day you get back, and add the celebration dinner details when you have them. Guests who saved the link see it update; you never re-send anything.
How should we word the elopement announcement?+
Keep it simple and let the photos do the work. The classics: 'We eloped! We swapped vows in an intimate ceremony and are looking forward to celebrating with you soon.' or 'We said I do — just us two. Now help us celebrate.' Put the wording on the announcement hero, then let the after-party event carry the date, time, and RSVP.
Do our guests need an account to RSVP to the celebration?+
Never. They open the link and tap. That's the entire point — every account wall you remove is more RSVPs you actually get, and elopement news travels by group chat, where nobody's signing up for anything.
How do we share the announcement?+
The same way the news actually travels: WhatsApp. Share buttons open WhatsApp with a pre-written announcement carrying your link — send it to the family group, the college friends, everyone. The link is short enough to say out loud and works from a QR code on a printed announcement card too.
Can we keep it private until we're ready to tell everyone?+
Yes — elopements are often a surprise first, news second. With Celebration you can put the page behind a guest password, keep it out of search engines, or both. Announce on your terms, then open it up when you're ready.
Can guests see the elopement photos?+
Yes. The page carries your elopement photo story — the ceremony, the place, the two of you — and guests can share their own from the celebration dinner back to you. One gallery, both chapters.
What about gifts — we didn't register anywhere?+
Elopement couples usually skip the registry. The details section is free text, so a simple line — 'your presence is the present' or a note about a honeymoon fund — is all it needs. No gift machinery to configure.
How is this different from a regular wedding website on The Knot or Zola?+
Those are built around a wedding day that hasn't happened yet — one ceremony, one reception, countdown to go. An elopement page is announcement-first: the marriage already happened, the story and photos lead, and the only thing to RSVP to is the party you're throwing now. The structure follows your actual sequence instead of forcing it into a countdown template.
Is there really no subscription?+
Really. You pay once, and your paid page includes hosting for at least two years from the celebration date. We email you long before anything ever changes, and we never delete your page outright.
Can we use it if we eloped months ago?+
Absolutely. The announcement doesn't care when the ceremony was — publish the story whenever you're ready to tell it, and set the after-party date in the future so the RSVP and countdown work for the celebration.
